FEES

Please contact Julie-Anne and her team on 08 8235 9433 to obtain information about individual treatment costs.  HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities are available for the convenience of our patients.

A referral is not required for private physiotherapy consultations.

 

HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES

Immediate private health insurance rebates for clients with extras cover is available via the HICAPS system. A gap payment is usually applicable. Rebate amounts differ between individual health funds and are dependent on the level of extras cover the patient holds. 

 

We are preferred providers for Health Partners, BUPA, Medibank Private and HCF. However, we do accept all private health funds.

 

WORKCOVER/THIRDY PARTY CLAIMS/VETERAN AFFAIRS

All our physiotherapists are accredited with WorkCover, Allianz – CTP, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. A referral from your General Practitioner is required before any physiotherapy treatment sessions can be undertaken under these compensable bodies.

 

These consultations and treatment sessions follow the fee schedules and guidelines set out by WorkCover and the Department of Veteran Affairs. We send the account directly to the patient's insurer with no out of pocket expense to the patient.  

 

For WorkCover and Allianz - CTP claimants we require relevant claim details, including insurance agent and claim number at the time of your first consult.  Veteran Affairs’ patients should bring along their gold card and referral letter.  

 

MEDICARE - ENHANCED PRIMARY CARE PLAN (EPC)

Medicare benefits are now being paid for some services provided by allied health professionals, including Physiotherapists. From 1 July 2004, it became possible for people with chronic conditions and complex care needs which are being managed by a General Practitioner (GP) to become eligible for visits funded by Medicare. If you think you have a chronic condition and complex care needs and your GP agrees that you would benefit from an EPC plan then you can be referred for up to 5 physiotherapy treatments per year. Please contact your GP for further information.

 

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES TO APPOINTMENTS

If you are needing to change or cancel your appointment, please call 08 8235 9433. A cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time.

A non-attendance fee also applies.
